As many animal adoptions groups are painfully aware, from time to
time there are more animals needing to come into the system than
we have foster homes for. We at Racing Home Greyhound Adoption
have been given a wonderful opportunity. We have had the generous
offer of a building that could be turned into our half way house, thus
allowing us to have more room resulting in more forever homes for
deserving dogs. Of course, with every story, there is good news and
bad news. We are in desperate need of finances to make this dream
come true. Although our members will do the vast majority of work,
we are short on funding for materials. We are hoping that individuals
along with adoption groups that have experienced this need will step
forward and help us raise funds. We have several fundraisers
planned in which the profits will go toward this project.
